Students completed the following assignment in class before beginning their research assignment:

Chronicle of a Death Foretold-pgs 85-95

Compare the treatment of Bayardo San Roman to the treatment of Santiago’s corpse.

How long was Angela Vicario married?

What happens to the widower Xius’ house? What is significant about the description of the wedding car?

What became of Angela Vicario?

Explain the significance of the following lines:

“I tried to get that truth out of her myself…”

“Don’t beat it to death , cousing.”

You are to research a case involving either bystander apathy or honor killing.
I have provided some links for you to use. Your PhotoStory project must tell the story of the case you have been assigned. You MUST use images, text, and narration that is appropriate. These cases are graphic in nature.

Include all details of the case. Victims, perpetrators, time, place, reasons, details, murder weapons, people involved, resolution, etc.

Again, these crimes are graphic in nature so find images that are appropriate. You don’t necessarily need actual crime scene photos. Everything must be tastefully done. Treat these as though you are reporting the news story.
